Last night DI’s cousin and good friend and all round top geezer Americo had his official leaving drinks do from his position at Ford. He and a large fleet of Ford people took over an area of the lounge at Sosho in North London. After I eventually found the place myself and DI hit the bar. It was a bit of a swanky establishment, the sort of place where beer is frowned upon so when in Rome… We got some coffee-cocktails to begin with, which we hoped might perk us up a bit, but these charcoal flavoured things were pretty hard going on the palette.
