Bonnie Scotland

group photo in barThis is somewhat of a full lap for hopkins81 as Clara’s last birthday was the first set of pictures I put on here. Scotland was a fantastic weekend, I didn’t really think there were going to be that many great photos but how wrong I was! Neal appears to have taken over from Gomez as being the most photographed man, but with such beautiful eyes who can blame us. Weekend at Dave’s

me and birdsSo September 29th is upon me again, 24th time by my reckoning. This every increasing number is bringing with it many unwelcome bodily changes. Aches and pains are at an all time high, whereas hair follicles and tadpole counts are at an all time low! What I needed to alleviate this grimness was some kind of immature outing that could get the red blood in this males pumping again. What was delivered was Weekend at Dave’s. So, Mr Fusco has turned 25. A full quarter of a century. He can now enjoy such pleasures as cheap car insurance and facial wrinkles. As we were aware of the man's fondness for scotch eggs, Gomez had the terrific idea to create the ultimate Scotch egg using an enormous ostridge egg. (That was too many eggs in one sentence.) He got the idea from here, super eggand with the help of myself, Clara and Sykes, spent most of Saturday boiling and baking to create a masterpiece. So complete with candles and all, the super-egg was presented to him in the Byng, where it was cut with similar pride and jubilation to a newly weds four tier wedding cake. cakeA good selection of birthdays has been celebrated in the past few months, all of them in the wonderful town of Potters Bar. It just goes to show that you don't need to go all the way to London or even a club. It's far more important to get the right balance of people, pressies and dirty pints and let the stupidness flow.
